Peculiar

I don't idle well at all. I lazed til about 3 today and worked myself into a mini depression with my latest book project book-the Cather in the Rye. It's good, but why does it have to be so darn depressing. I know Holden Caulfield hates life, but does that mean I have to too? But then I got out of the house and went to a craft store. You know those places where they let you write on to test pens and sharpies and all that jazz? Well, most people write their name or draw a smiley, but I decided I wanted to write quotes. So I did. Peculiar, right? Here's what I wrote.

"Curiouser and curiouser..."
-Alice in Wonderland (my random obsession)

"Everything in this room is eatable. Even I'm eatable! But that is called cannibalism, my dear children, and it is generally frowned upon in modern society."
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

And then two of my own, very similar because I just though of different endings.

"Life can never seem meaningless when you stop to think about what it really means."
(ok, so I admit, I only wrote up to "think" on the paper, but then I thought of more.)

and

"Life can never seem meaningless when you start to live."

Well, that's how I felt and was trying to feel and etc. etc. So in summary-bad morning, good afternoon, and I need to keep busy.

Goodnight imaginary readers!

Ohh! Quote of the Day

Well, hello imaginary readers! SO nice to see, well, talk to, or at least blog to you. What shall I do if I actually ever get readers?? What happens to imaginary people if they turn real? Hmm...important questions, but not what I was here for-here's a quote of the day.

"There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes."
Doctor Who

Well, I enjoy quotes, so...

Here's a quote/s of the day, imaginary readers! Whether you enjoy it or not, I do, so no complaints (do imaginary people complain?). Here it is:

"Everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant."
Cary Grant (1904 - 1986)

or if you prefer, here is another:

"Too many have dispensed with generosity in order to practice charity."

-- Albert Camus

My goodness, I feel like a crazy old lady, talking to imaginary people. Tata!

Wow-good thing nobody read this.

So, after completely abandoning this blog, I am on it again. Fabulous! The good and bad news-nobody read it anyway. Good because no one missed my absence. Bad because, well, no one missed my absence. Well, I'm back and I'll post when I feel like it, for myself, the random lost tourist who has accidentally stumbled across this page, and whoever I can bribe to read this. Ha. Oh well. This is good venting. Like a journal I suppose. Ok then, goodbye to my imaginary readers!

Quote of the Day (late)

Oops-I'm late again, but at least I'm here! The election is coming up and I am pumped, but also scared of....certain fates that are best left unsaid *cough* Palin as President *cough* but anyway, here is your quote of the day!

"I will eat his heart in the marketplace!"
-Beatrice, Much Ado About Nothing

Quote of the, uh, two days!

Well, i did it-I missed a day. But I'm back!! And the quote of the day is....dedicated to Sarah Palin! Guess who I support?

"Did you fall down and smack your little head on the pavement?"
-Miranda Priestly, The Devil Wears Prada

Hocky mom for Obama!

Hilarious video!! A hocky mom and her "moose" husband singing, "Don't speak for me Sarah Palin. The truth is...I do not like you. My kid plays hockey. And I'm his momma. But I'm voting... Barack Obama...." Priceless!
